The MICPDAS Analog Input Module M-7017Z is a data acquisition and control module that support Modbus RTU and DCON protocols. With the Modbus RTU protocol, it can easily communicate with most popular SCADA/HMI software and PLC. It has the same form factor as the I-7000 series.
ICPDAS Analog Input Module M-7017Z has software configurable channels-- from 10 differential channels into 20 single ended channels. Both voltage and current are accepted: ±150 mV, ±500 mV, ±1 V, ±5 V, ±10 V, ±20 mA , 0 ~ 20 mA, and 4 ~ 20 mA. No external resistor needed for measuring the current, all you have to do is to open the shell first and finish the setting by jumper.
Measuring the current is as simple as you think! The M-7017Z also passes 240 Vrms overvoltage protection for differential inputs and 150Vrms overvoltage protection for singleended inputs, 3000 VDC intra-module isolation, ±4 kV contact ESD protection, ±4 kV EFT protection for power, and ±1 kV EFT protection for RS-485. The sampling rate of M-7017Z is changeable. There are fast mode and normal mode for your consideration. Fast Mode is 60 Hz with 12-bit resolution. Normal Mode is 10 Hz with 16-bit Resolution.
