The ET-7000 series is a family of Internet/Ethernet data acquisition and control modules that support Modbus/TCP protocols and it is an Ethernet remote I/O module with the built-in web server that used for all configuration and I/O data monitoring and controlling using a regular web browser.

Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) allows power and data to be carried over a single Ethernet cable, so a device can operate solely from the power it receives through the data cable. This innovation allows greater flexibility in office design, higher efficiency in systems design, and faster turnaround time in set-up and implementation.

The ET-7016 feature true IEEE 802.3af-compliant (classification, Class 1) Power over Ethernet (PoE) using both Ethernet pairs (Category 5 Ethernet cable). The ET-7016 can receive power from an auxiliary power sources like AC adapters and battery in addition to the PoE enabled network. This is a desirable feature when the total system power requirements exceed the PSE's load capacity.

Furthermore, with the auxiliary power option, the ET-7016 can be used in a standard Ethernet (non-PoE) system.

The ET-7016, a web-based Ethernet I/O module, features a built-in web server, which allows configuration, I/O monitoring and I/O control by simply using a regular web browser. Besides, with the web HMI function, no more programming or HTML skills are needed; creating dynamic and attractive web pages for I/O monitoring and I/O control would be fun to engineers ever after. The ET-7016 offers easily and safely access for users from anytime and anywhere! In addition, ET-7016 also supports Modbus/TCP protocol that makes perfect integration to SCADA software.

The ET-7016 is a strain gauge module, there are 2-channel analog inputs, 1-channel excitation voltage output, 2-channel digital inputs and 2-channel digital outputs module. It provides programmable input range on all analog inputs(±15mV, ±50mV, ±100mV, ±500mV, ±1V, and ±2.5V) and supports full-bridge, half-bridge, and quarter-bridge. Each analog input is allowed to configure an individual range. Excitation voltage outputs are 0 ~ 10V range with 60mA driving efficient. Digital outputs can be set alarm outputs.
