μPAC-7186E is our new generation of palm-size PAC. It equips a more power full CPU (upgraded from 40M Hz to 80M Hz) and a faster Ethernet port (upgraded from 10 Base-T to 10/100 Base-TX).
Compared with I-7188E series, μPAC-7186E’s computing speed is up to 4 times faster. And there are more memory configuration choices to select from.
ICPDAS μPAC-7186EXD-FD, a palm-sized programmable automation controller, features data logging, I/O control as well as various COM ports, such as Ethernet, RS-232 and RS-485. At the same time, ICP DAS also provides easy-to-use software development tool kits (Xserver, VxComm, Modbus libraries). By taking advantage of them, your serial devices are easily able to be integrated with ICPDAS μPAC-7186EXD-FD, and furthermore, enjoy the ability of Ethernet!? Through the standard Modbus protocol, μPAC-7186EXD-FD also seamlessly works with SCADA software, like Indusoft, ISaGRAF, DasyLab, Trace Mode, Citect, iFix, etc.
For the hardware, it supports an I/O expansion bus. By pairing the I/O expansion bus with different kinds of X-boards, various I/O functions can be performed, such as D/I, D/O, A/D, D/A, Timer/Counter, UART, flash memory, battery backup SRAM, ASIC key and so on. From now on, there are more than 50 X-boards available for ICPDAS μPAC-7186EXD-FD. Compared to μPAC-7186EXD, μPAC-7186EXD-FD equips with an extra 64MB flash memory. By using the built-in MFS (MiniOS7 File System) library, you can freely read/write files from/to the 64MB flash memory.
Simply with the μPAC-786EX-FD, many kinds of data-logging applications become a piece of cake! For example, log analog signals with timeline, or log RS-232/485 data for further analysis.
