ICS Quad Serial Module VXI-5539A provides four or eight asynchronous RS-232/RS-422/RS-485 VXI serial channels. Module uses VXI Fast Data Channels to transfer the TX and RX data to and from the Slot 0 Controller. The Fast Data Channel buffers enable the VXI-5539A to maintain continuous high-speed data transfer without tying up the VXIbus backplane and the Slot 0 Controller. The VXI-5539A is a VXI to RS232 or a VXI to RS422 Module.
