De DU-5K-TP2 beschikt over een geïntegreerd Cirque touchpad voor gebruik bij hoge of lage temperaturen, met links- en rechtsklik-muisknoppen eronder voor extra gebruiksgemak. Het is ontworpen om te voldoen aan NEMA 4X-specificaties. Het toetsenbord heeft 116 toetsen, inclusief 24 functietoetsen. De montagegaten aan de achterkant verhogen bovendien de veelzijdigheid van het apparaat.
Opmerking: dit toetsenbord wordt vaak gekozen voor vluchtveiligheidstraining en simulatoren.
